Me sat at my desk drawing motivational cartoons!

Richard Duszczak (Pronounced Du-shack!) is a reasonably
well known cartoonist in the United Kingdom, on a mission to
become a reasonably well known cartoonist in the world.
(And when he achieves that he’ll up his goals to become a
EXTREMELY WELL KNOWN cartoonist in the world…etc
He doesn’t confess to be a Motivational Guru, but he has read
all the books and listened to the tapes by the truck load:
Napoleon Hill’s Think and Grow Rich was the one that set him on
the road to success so to speak. Others followed…Clement
Stone, Og Mandino, Zig Ziglar, Norman Vincent Peale, Earl
Nightingale, Brian Tracey, Dennis Waitley, Anthony Robbins,
Wyne Dyer, Stephen Covey, David Schwartz, Peter Thompson
and many more. So he’s had extremely good teachers!

Richard is a self taught cartoonist who used cartoon illustrated
affirmations to motivate himself to carry on when rejection of his
work followed rejection.
Starting out without any graphic arts experience back in 1980,
he learnt everything he knows from reading books and
taking action. You could say he graduated from the College
of Hard Knocks. (And he did take some knocks as his work
was pretty poor when he first started!) But with sheer
determination, hard work, perseverance and more hard work he
began to make a living as a cartoonist. His lifelong dream.

Hiya! I love your site! Could I possibly use a couple of the cartoons (referenced of course) in a conference presentation that I am preparing on gifted individuals?
    Greetings from Greece!

    Thanks for sharing your gift.

I’m a volunteer speaker at Scott Creek Middle school student and parent “Wellness” conference, just outside Vancouver, Canada on Thursday 9 April, 2009.

My topic is “Setting goals through visualisation and positive thinking that will change your life now and in the future.”

Your illustrations are inspiring and perfect for this group. I’d like to ask permission to use some of them and change the presentation I’ve prepared to include them?

I don’t know what you charge but I would love to send you a copy of the “Cookin’ it up around the World” cookbook that our school community put together last year to celebrate our multi-culturism (85 countries represented in the school). Would this be a suitable trade?

Looking forward to touching base with you about this.
